HelixAmp™ Bst DNA Polymerase, Large Fragment is the portion of the Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA polymerase protein that contains the 5’ → 3’ polymerase activity but lacks 5’ → 3’ exonuclease activity. Bst DNA polymerase, Large fragment is purified from an E. coli strain as a recombinant.

Enzyme activities: Modified to retain 5´ → 3´ polymerase activity while lacking 5´ →3´ exonuclease activity.

Storage buffer: 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 50 mM KCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1 mM DTT, stabilizer and 50 % (v/v) glycerol

Recommended reaction temperature: 55 to 65 ℃

Purity: ≥ 95 % (SDS-PAGE)

DNase contamination test: Not detectable (Incubation with 20 U enzyme and pUC19 plasmid at 37 ℃, 1 hr)

RNase contamination test: Not detectable (Incubation with 20 U enzyme and human total RNA at 37 ℃, 1 hr)

Activity test: Correspond to reference (LAMP assay with λ phage DNA).

Stability: 24 months at -20 ℃
