HelixAmp™ Phi29 DNA Polymerase is a recombinant protein purified from E.coli strain harboring the phi29 DNA polymerase-encoded gene. Phi29 DNA polymerase, a replicative polymerase, possesses the highest processivity and strand-displacement activity among the known DNA polymerase.

Enzyme activities: Highly processive polymerase featuring strong strand displacement activity which allows for highly efficient isothermal DNA amplification.

Storage buffer: 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 100 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1 mM DTT, stabilizers and 50 % (v/v) glycerol

Purity: ≥ 90 % (SDS-PAGE)

Activity test: Correspond to reference (WGA assay with human and plant genomic DNA)
