RealHelix™ qPCR Lyo-Cake [Green] is a lyophilized qPCR premix formulated with a double-stranded DNA-binding green fluorescent dye. The premix is engineered for high sensitivity and specificity, enabling rapid real-time quantification of target DNA. Lyophilization removes moisture from the premix, allowing convenient room-temperature storage and shipment. Simply add primers and the DNA template, then rehydrate with RNase-free water to start the reaction.
The premix contains antibody-mediated hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, green fluorescent dye, dNTPs, Mg2+, salts, and stabilizers. The optimized formulation minimizes non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation, ensuring highly specific amplification of the target DNA. (A melt curve analysis can be performed as needed.)
